Maccor Inc. Announces Key Leadership Promotions

Tulsa, Oklahoma – March 31, 2025 – Maccor Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of three esteemed long-time employees—Jon Causey, Brian King, and Justin Kearns—to the position of Senior Vice President. These leadership changes reflect Maccor’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and continued growth.

  • Jon Causey will oversee operations at Maccor’s satellite locations, driving the company’s vision and expansion. With 17 years at Maccor, Jon has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic insight. Previously serving as Customer Support Manager for the Western USA region, he played a pivotal role in developing a thriving customer support operation in San Jose, CA.

  • Brian King will lead operations at Maccor’s corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A 34-year veteran of the company, Brian’s dedication and technical expertise have been instrumental in optimizing production and efficiency. As the former Manager of Maccor’s Manufacturing team, he has overseen critical aspects of the company’s production processes.

  • Justin Kearns will oversee Maccor’s global Sales and Customer Support operations from Tulsa, Oklahoma. With 17 years at Maccor, Justin also brings 13 years of experience at Energizer, where he led teams in battery manufacturing and testing. Most recently, as Manager of Maccor’s global Customer Support operations, he has been committed to enhancing customer satisfaction and service excellence.

    Maccor was founded in 1987 by a group of electronics and software engineers with experience in the battery industry. Our goal then was to build the finest test equipment available, and to support it comprehensively. This continues to be our goal and our only business today, after over 35 years in operation.

    We have thousands of systems in operation, in over 50 countries worldwide. Maccor remains independent, and continues to be operated by the company founders. We are located in company owned facilities in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

    We sell to and support our equipment in North and South America directly from Tulsa. For much of the rest of the world, we sell and support through our representatives. Nearly all of our representatives have been with Maccor for over ten years, and all have substantial, “hands on” experience with our products.

    Maccor equipment is used by researchers, manufacturers (production, quality control), and organizations needing to perform detailed evaluation of batteries and other energy storage devices.

    We have sold equipment to a high percentage of the leading manufacturing and research organizations worldwide. We have sold equipment to well over half of the startup battery companies formed in the last twenty years.
